Volunteer Opportunities

Warner Christian Academy wants you to know that volunteers make a real difference to the students, faculty and staff. Our school could not accomplish its mission of “partnering with parents in shaping students into the image of Christ by helping them discover Truth in academics, athletics, and arts” without the support of our valued volunteers.

In accordance with Florida law, all adults who wish to volunteer at Warner, including chaperoning field trips, must be fingerprinted, background checked, and approved by the administration before being allowed to participate in any school-sponsored event.

To get started, complete the following three forms with original signatures and call Mrs. Angela Alfano  at 386-767-5451 ext. 211 to schedule an appointment to drop off the paperwork.  She will also assist you in scheduling your background check appointment.

    1.  WCA Volunteer Application 
    2.  VECHS Waiver Agreement & Statement
    3.  Affidavit of Good Moral Character

Please note that it can take up to 7-10 business days to receive the background screening results.  Therefore, please prepare accordingly if you are planning to volunteer at the school – and especially if you are planning to chaperone a field trip – to allow for enough time for us to be able to process your volunteer application.

Background screenings are valid for 5 years. We will proactively let you know as you approach your expiration date so that renewal can take place before a lapse in coverage.
